Regione Toscana picks H-art for strategy and Social Media Team
Posted on Ottobre 23rd, 2009The Regione Toscana has quickly, and with great foresight, grasped the present scenario of online travel in which an ever-increasing number of people all over the world research, plan and purchase their travelling online, exploiting the potential of digital tools before, during and after the trip. Thus the Regione Toscana has opened itself up completely to this novelty and the innumerable opportunities offered by the world of Social Media, promoting them to top place in its new territorial marketing campaign called “Voglio Vivere Così”. To manage this ambitious project, Regione Toscana has chosen H-art.
H-art’s task will be to cooperate with Fondazione Sistema Toscana to the overhaul of what’s on offer for tourists in Tuscany, promoting a much more aware, sustainable, quality-driven kind of tourism that focuses on the localness and excellence of the region. H-art’s role is to create a strong point of contact within Social Media for a targeted distrubution of the entire system of offers, initiatives and activities that the region of Tuscany is able to offer, everything that Regione Toscana’s new campaign Voglio Vivere Così, ideated and managed by Fondazione Sistema Toscana, includes. This campaign aims to encourage lovers of Tuscany all over the world to share tips, information and opportunities in a new and direct way, and thus become themselves ambassadors for the region around the world.
In particular, H-art has come up with a strategy for Social Media, specificaly the creation of a special Social Media Team and the definition of a long list actions and instruments whose aim is to overhaul what is on offer for tourists in the region, bringing it closer to the needs and wishes of a new generation of travellers.
For us here in H-art it is an honour to have been chosen by Regione Toscana for such an important and ambitious project. H-art dedicated maximum attention from the word go to this initiative, setting up a recruiting agency to concretely demonstrate our capacity. Over 2500 young people from all over the world expressed their wish to be part of Tuscany’s Media Team. This confirms just how beautiful and forward-looking the vision of our wonderful area is. Now, in twenty days, we will create one branch of the company in Florence, where ten guys, almost all foreigners, will work, and for us it is an important opportunity to create a division of business dedicated to Social Media.
The official launch of Regione Toscana’s Voglio Vivere Così campaign was during the Festival of Creativity which takes place in Florence from 15-18 October 2009.
